Position Information

Description of Position:
The extern will gain hands-on exposure to how a modern biotechnology startup operates at the intersection of science, AI, and drug development. The student will shadow the Founder/CEO and team members, observe scientific strategy discussions, learn how therapeutic antibodies are conceptualized and evaluated, and participate in structured discussions on biotechnology careers, translational research, and entrepreneurship. The experience emphasizes professional development, critical thinking, and understanding real-world applications of classroom learning.
Pre-requisites or Requirements:
Preferred (but not required) majors include Biology, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Chemistry, Data Science, Computer Science, or related life-science disciplines. Students should have an interest in biotechnology, healthcare innovation, or scientific research. No prior industry experience is required. Curiosity, professionalism, and willingness to learn are most important.
