Position Information

Description of Position:
Based on the student's interests, I can set up meetings for them with colleagues in other departments to network and learn more about different roles. I would set up lab tours and a campus tour. Other experiences I could provide include giving them an overview of pharma/the drug development timeline, a mock interview session, how to read/present on academic papers, overview of data analysis tools, best lab practices (i.e. ALCOA/data integrity), and intro to project management. I can also share more about Merck culture outside of the technical side, such as how we focus on diversity and inclusion. Everything can be of course tailored to the student's interests and experiences!
Pre-requisites or Requirements:
No prerequisites required. The best fit would be a student studying science or engineering.
