A National Historic Landmark, Morven is situated on five pristine acres in the heart of Princeton, New Jersey. The home of Richard Stockton, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and former New Jersey Governor’s Mansion, Morven showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Garden State through regular exhibitions, educational programs, and special events.

SPRING 2025 ONE WEEK (March 17-21)

Externs at Morven have the opportunity to work with different departments that make up a small museum and nonprofit setting. This can include projects in education, horticulture, development, curatorial, and marketing depending on the extern's interests and studies. Students can also attend and participate in any relevant events, programs, and/or meetings occurring at the museum during the externship, offering hands-on experience.

All majors and class years are welcome. Those interested in non-profit work, education, history, environmental studies, art, and other related fields might find this opportunity particularly relevant.
