PamTen is an IT Solutions and Staffing organization which has a broad range of offerings for any information technology needs. Services include: cybersecurity, strategic advisory services, IT staffing, custom IT solutions, and product development. We are a certified MWBE. We help clients in small to large corporations by developing scalable, cost-effective solutions driven by our proven methodologies & our extensive experience and to better understand the applicability of emerging technologies to their business.

PamTen launched SheTek, a non-profit whose mission is to increase the number of women represented in the technology industry. We achieve this through our strong community of partners that are passionate about empowering women in technology. SheTek provides mentorship, networking, training, and inspiration to women entering the IT field through to seasoned professionals.

Summer 2023 - TWO WEEKS (June 19-30)

Students will attend a variety of meetings which will provide insight into different aspects of business as well as IT development. Some projects may be assigned including (but not limited to): research on various IT topics or problems, creating databases from designated information, analyzing or testing certain programs or processes. We try to give the students a rounded vision of not just their main interest, but the many aspects that are part of any job.

There are no specific requirements, other than an interest in tech and an interest to learn. Good communications skills would be preferred. But we are flexible and want to provide the best learning experience we can.

This externship is in-person but can also be done hybrid.
