Position Information
Description of Position:
The college student that selects this role should be attentive to the children in the program. This includes daily attendance tracking and monitoring attendance during transitions. Externs must be able to maintain a calm demeanor and assist children with emotional and self-regulation and conflict resolution. In addition to caring for the children at our program, selected students will work with the Lead and Assistant teachers on implementing lesson plans, creating a positive physical and emotional classroom environment and will use the Teaching Strategies platform to monitor the children's activities, meals, bathroom breaks, rests etc. during the course of the day.
