Position Information

Description of Position:
The EARTH Center at RCE Middlesex is a horticultural hub of demonstration gardens and outreach. Student experiences will vary on a daily basis and by season. Most of the work will be outdoors. Students will shadow staff and volunteers to set up gardens for the season, plant, propagate, perform general garden maintenance, diagnose plant problems, assist in volunteer training, and learn small equipment operation.
Pre-requisites or Requirements:
Student must want to work outdoors. Many of the activities are in the garden or within the park. Plant science, ag and food systems, ecology, and environmental studies majors preferred.
