Peer leaders will learn to effectively and professionally communicate what they do in their positions on their resumes, and during phone and in-person interviews. This workshop will include brainstorming relevant experiences, critiquing example descriptions, writing or revising the peer leader’s own resume, and a mock interview component. Participants must bring two copies of their resume to the session. (If you do not yet have a resume document, please draft one before attending so that you can make the most of this session.) Participants are also welcome to bring a cover letter (for a job or internship) or a personal statement (for medical school or graduate school) that includes a description of their work as a peer leader.
