Building on BLT’s digital archival collections featuring 800 hours of recorded conversations with Black artists, creative workers, and community members, we are working to activate this unique oral history resource and avail it to the public in its entirety. An open access, born-digital collection of images, transcriptions, and roundtable conversations featuring over 1,200 people from around the world, the archive is a fully-independent repository championing self-authorship and narrative control in the making and expansion of contemporary cultural history.
